On September 10, 2021, our President, HRH the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, received the title of “Champion in the fight against conflict-related sexual violence in support of United Nations advocacy” from Her Excellency Mrs Pramila Patten, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in charge of the issue of sexual violence in conflict.

This award honors the tireless fight of Her Royal Highness and her partners with whom she has surrounded herself in the fight against rape as a weapon of war for several years.
