For over five years, Stand Speak Rise Up! has not been speaking for Survivors, but offering them a platform to make their voices heard through its motto “Nothing about us, without us”.

On November 18, 2024, HRH. Grand Duchess Maria-Teresa of Luxembourg, Chékéba Hachemi and the Board of Stand Speak Rise Up! brought together its partners, as well as Survivors, activists and project leaders supported by the association, for an exceptional lunch at the Hôtel Regina in Paris.

Among them were Sylvia Acan from Uganda, Zakia Khodadi from Afghanistan, Innaris Suarez Cardenas and Claudia Alonso Betancourt from Cuba, Justine Masika Bihamba from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Margarita Rybina from the NGO Russia Libertés, whose inspiring testimonies and commitments left a lasting impression.

The event also brought together committed partners such as the Engie Foundation, the Fonds de Solidarité Oui Care, Groupe SOS and the L’Oréal Fund for Women to work towards a common goal: supporting Survivors of sexual violence in fragile areas.
