Project Description
/ Raising students’ awareness of sexual violence in conflict situation
Stand Speak Rise Up! is actively involved in raising student awareness of the causes and consequences of sexual violence in armed conflicts. Members of the Board of Directors, including HRH the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg and Chékéba Hachemi, and the Stand Speak Rise Up! team regularly visit schools to educate and inspire students.
These include Lycée Français Vauban in Luxembourg, École Primaire Marie Consolatrice in Esch-sur-Alzette, lycée Aline Mayrisch in Luxembourg and the Lycée Athénée de Luxembourg. These events are designed to pass on the fundamental values of solidarity and underline the importance of commitment to the younger generation.
