On Friday November 22, a reception for Survivors was held at Berg Castle in collaboration with the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess Foundation.

H.R.H. the Grand Duchess welcomed Survivors, activists and supporters of Stand Speak Rise Up! projects. Key partners of Stand Speak Rise Up! and the Fondation grand-ducale were also present, including Fondation Engie, BGL BNP-Paribas, Atoz, Zonta International, Fondation Indosuez, Rotary Club, Bazar International, Cactus, Luxair, Hermes Luxembourg, Oberweis, Eric et Laurent selons, POST, Le Grand Café restaurant, and many others.

Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, accompanied by his wife Marjolijne Frieden, and Paulette Lenert, member of the Chamber of Deputies and director of Stand Speak Rise Up! attended the event. They were particularly moved by the testimonies of the Survivors and activists during the evening.

This meeting enabled the partners to discover the evolution of the projects led by these Survivors and their impact in each country. Among them were innovative and unique initiatives, such as access to education for children born of rape in Uganda, set up by Sylvia Acan.
