THE PROJECT
The project led by Stand Speak Rise Up! in Luxembourg aims to support refugee women who are Survivors of sexual violence by providing comprehensive and tailored assistance to meet their specific needs.
Facing double vulnerability—being both refugees and Survivors of extreme violence—these women encounter numerous barriers in rebuilding their lives. This initiative is based on a holistic approach, integrating psychosocial support, legal assistance, and socio-economic reintegration opportunities within the Luxembourgish context.
The support offered includes access to specialized services such as medical care, psychological counselling, and legal aid, enabling the women to assert their rights. Additionally, vocational training and other activities will be implemented to foster financial and social autonomy. The goal is to equip them with the tools they need to regain dignity and independence in a safe environment.
The project is built on close collaboration with local associations and national institutions to ensure personalized and long-term support. Through this commitment, Stand Speak Rise Up! contributes to strengthening the resilience of these women and raising awareness among communities about the importance of dedicated care for Survivors and their children.
